Stuff Black People Like

Drawing inspiration from the blog with the similar name catering to white people, I felt compelled to compile a list of a few thing that that Black people like.

We are in no way attempting to generalize for the entire community, for it would both impossible and disrespectful to do so. However, there are some common consistencies in the Black community.

Sarah "Saartjie" Baartman also known as Hottentot Venus, was a woman who was exhibited throughout Europe showcasing what many Europeans thought to be unusual body parts. Although featured in the 19th century she was not a slave and when asked in Dutch court if she was aware of the situation, she stated she was not held under restraint and expected to receive half the profits. However, it was the persuasive Englishmen who lured her away from her native land with the dreams of riches, and made her a freak show.



Today, do we really enjoy certain artists only for their music or rather the carnal obsession with their bodies, for instance, Nicki Minaj..
